Our mission is to foster lifelong connections among UT Austin alumni in the San Diego region while supporting the next generation of Longhorns through events, engagement, and scholarship fundraising.
Who We Are
The Texas Exes San Diego Chapter is the official alumni group for graduates and former students of The University of Texas at Austin living in the greater San Diego area. As part of the broader Texas Exes alumni network, we’re committed to keeping the spirit of the Forty Acres alive—no matter how far we are from Austin.

We’re a diverse, welcoming community of Longhorns who come together to celebrate our alma mater, support one another, and give back.
What We Do
From lively game watch parties to professional networking events, volunteer projects, and our beloved Summer BBQ, we create opportunities for Longhorns to stay engaged and build meaningful connections in San Diego.

Our work also has a purpose: proceeds from chapter events help fund an annual scholarship awarded to a San Diego–area student attending UT Austin. It’s our way of supporting the next generation of Texas Exes and ensuring they have the opportunity to create their own Forty Acres experience.
